Working in conjunction with leading e-learning provider it-training.com and Microsoft Certified Gold Partner, Informatics Group, Intuition trainers will now have access to over 600 interactive online courses and a large portfolio of instructor-led training events.

      9th September 2002: QA, the UK’s leading provider of specialist IT training and consulting, and Intuition, the UK's largest supplier of freelance trainers and related services, announced today that they have renewed their framework agreement. Intuition has been furnishing QA with freelance IT user trainers on a preferred supplier basis for the last five years.

    • NHS Information Authority registers 200 trainers on the IITT'S certified e-learning professional progamme (CeLP) to support staff undertaking online learning

      The NHS Information Authority is offering 200 current NHS trainers places on an e-tutoring skills programme under the Institute of IT Training's Certified e-Learning Professional Programme. The programme combines a one-day classroom course with three online courses, which will teach the delegates the skills required to support learners engaged in online learning. Successful trainers will receive the Certificate in e-Tutoring Skills from the IITT.

    • NHS information authority supports IITT membership and TAP certification

      The National Health Service Information Authority has published guidance which strongly recommends that those delivering IT training for the National Health Service should seek membership of the Institute of IT Training (IITT) as part of their Continuous Professional Development and develop and maintain their skills through the Institute's professional framework.

    • Prosoft training accredits TAP for CIW certified instructor qualification

      ProsoftTraining, who administer the global Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW) certification, have recognised the Institute of IT Training's Trainer Assessment Programme (TAP) certificate as acceptable evidence of best practice training delivery skills for the CIW Certified Instructor qualification.

      As part of its on-going commitment to promoting best practice in training, TATA Interactive Systems (TIS) has sponsored the International Training Project of the Year category in the 2002 Institute of IT Training (IITT) Awards, which were presented at the Dorchester Hotel on 7th February. At the Dorchester, Sambit Mohapatra, of TIS, formally presented the Award to Alan Maguire of the winners, Electric Paper, the Dublin-based international e-learning company with offices in Harrow, Middlesex.

      After several site visits, lots of questions and feedback from a ‘mystery shopper’, the support activities for SunSystems, based in Farnborough, have secured Technical Support Centre Accreditation from the Institute of IT Training.
